A new centerpiece to the MCDC campus has been completed, thanks to the hard work of students and stuff in the Construction Equipment, Heavy Equipment Operators and Brick Masonry programs. The new Clock Tower adorns the center of campus and is equipped with chimes.

The Tower was welded, constructed and assembled in the Construction Equipment Mechanic class under the direction of instructors Billy Cloud and Keith Austin. Preparation for the foundation was done by the Heavy Equipment Operators class directed by instructors Thurman Morgan, James Watkins and Ralph Johnson. The foundation was prepared by Brick Masonry directed by David Jarvis.
