Career Training (All photos provided by courtesy of Job Corps center operators under contract to the US Department of Labor)

The Job Corps program is designed to assist young people in becoming capable, conscientious employees with the skills necessary to succeed in business and life. At the core of this curriculum is the career training, in which students choose a special trade to study.

While training for a career, Job Corps students are also encouraged to earn a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). After completing a trade and earning a high school diploma or GED, students are eligible for placement services, including advanced training, military placement and permanent employment.

Please use the menu on the left to find out more about the education you can get at MCDC, where you train for your future!
